This was fantastic even though I was a bit "short" on a few ingredients. I really liked this recipe because it's so simple, mostly hands off yet so tasty.

I was looking for something to make in which I thought we had all ingredients for. I only had about 3 cups of cherry tomatoes. We also love olives so I added some Kalamata olives but only had about 1/4 cup. I added another 1/4 cup of just regular black olives from a can.

As an aside, I have noticed a few times lately when using Google that if I enter "Cookie and Kate" + the name of something I want to make that I get an AI answer at the top. It didn't happen with this recipe but has happened. It doesn't happen if entering "-AI" after the words to be searched. I have quit using Google with the name of your website or any website + what I want to make due to the AI answers. Hopefully this does not get to be an issue for you & others resulting in a decrease in ad revenue.

Hi. Long time follower who loves your delicious recipes. This looks amazing. What are the chances there is a different cheese you can use to substitute for goat cheese? (I just can’t bring myself to like it.) I realize there may not be a good substitute because it’s a key ingredient, but thought it was worth asking! Thanks in advance.

Hi Kate:

Looks absolutely delicious and easy to prepare!

Do you think that feta could be substituted for the goat cheese? Currently, have only the dry, crumbled feta.

Thanks. All of the recipes that our family prepared from your blog have turned out great.

This came out delicious! The garlic, tomatoes, and goat cheese all swirled together very well and was super tasty. I added chopped fresh spinach leaves along with the basil. Gluten free pasta made with ground chick peas made this a friendly option to bring to a potluck, where I brought a large bowl, and I enjoyed leftovers for lunch. Very flavorful! I appreciate the tips on salting the pasta water. Thank you for fun delicious recipes that make me so happy to eat leftovers!
