I sauté sliced mushrooms in butter and olive oil with salt and pepper and add a layer of mushrooms when I assemble. It brings a nice texture, gives a “meat like” sense, and adds another great vegetable to this lasagna! I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure about the fontina cheese so I got both and added a small amount of the fontina. It gives a nice flavor and will use more next time I make this.
