EXCELLENT POTATOES

I used Earth Fresh Organic Yellow Potatoes and non dairy butter and Oh My they were delicious! While my potatoes were smaller than the recipe called for, recipe worked great. I used my electric counter oven. I also did not have chop sticks so I used a wooden handle from a small spatula to keep from cutting through. Thank you for this amazing recipe. A Definite keeper.

I did this for the holiday and it was simply a success. I was worried about slicing but the chopstick method was perfect (I'm sure it also helped that I used a newly sharpened knife!) I had to make a lot so I placed the potatoes all together in a 9x13 glass casserole and baked it that way. It came out beautifully and made a great presentation at the table. My guests were quite impressed. Thank you so much for sharing this!

These potatoes were amazing! No chopsticks so I used the wooden spoons, they worked perfectly.
We will make these again and again.
Thank you for mentioning the left handers! Nice to see in a right handed world.

Put the potato in a wooden spoon and slice it. Or if you don't have a wooden spoon perhaps you have two kitchen utensils with wooden handles, then put the potato between the handles. But a wooden spoon is the best. No need to make the potato flat.
You can also put som breadcrumbs in the butter you use at the end. Will give you a little crunch.
Tips from Sweden, birthplace for Hasselbackspotatis. Hasselbacken is located in Stockholm by the way.
