No blood oranges in site, so going to try regular oranges. Then going to make a tart for a neighbor who helped me out. I love orange and chocolate together, so I might put a thin layer of chocolate on the crust. I’m 76 and single. Loads and LOADS of dating, many of which looking for a “mommy”, not a partner. Lived with one guy for a couple years who was a fabulous cook (ended up cheating on me). Don’t miss the guy, but miss his cooking! Thank you so much for this simple recipe.

This sounds so delicious. Dating is the exciting start up. Hanging out is the rest of your life. We’ve done a lot of it in 38 years of marriage. And you are very right. When you find the right one, hanging out is lovely and leads to being closer. Noboody can “date” for 50 years. Just don’t settle for the wrong guy.

I’ve not yet made this but it sounds very fine.
I have a Meyer lemon tree in my Philadelphia, PA home that had 16 lemons on it, now 13.
My question: what do you think of using combination of Meyer lemons and blood oranges?
