I didn’t put the Jalapeño pepper in it. It was hot enough with all the others for me. I added 1/16 cup of sugar because it made my husband have the first bite syndrome that he has from a surgery. I let him taste it after with a cracker and he did ok. Good tasting recipe. I live in Marion NC.
