I’m so sorry to hear about Cookie, I’ve always had a dog under my desk, even now as I’m writing, his name is Noah a full-blooded Tibetan Terrier. He is very loving, faithful and extremely protective. After reading your recipes I plan to continue reading your blogs. Even though I’m retired from my 5 large restaurants, I still love to cook for my friends and family. I’ve graduated from two National Cooking Academies and have been a professional chef for over 46 years. Let’s keep in touch!

Hi Kate, First I want to say I love your recipes! My daughters both have your cookbooks and really enjoy them. One of my daughters is vegetarian and cooks a lot of your things. Her children even love their vegetables with some of your wonderful recipes. It was always fun to see your sweet Cookie and hear about her…I know how much she has been missed, but just remember that you have so many fun filled memories to hold forever in your heart . And I’m sure you have missed your recipe taster!….pets are family. Sorry to babble on, but just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your recipes! Have a wonderful summer. Judy

I find your recipe writing amazing. It is the clear directions and substitutions that you give the cook. Thank you so much. I live in an elder apt. We have to pay for food, but 80%, at least, of the food is not what I call green or clean. Luckily, I have a nice sized kitchen. I lobbied for healthy food, there is a new company coming next month. We’ll see . I do enjoy cooking but am slowing down.
In the past, I put no sweetener in but added a “few” chocolate chips and from Texas… pecans!! The bananas made it sweet enough, by the way.
I will try yours today. ..so excited

Hi Katheryn! I am Kathryn (after Audrey Heburn—ha ha–just my mom).
I adore your cookbook and felt so bad when Cookie passed! I am wondering if you are working on another book? I seem to have to print out all the recipes that are not in the 1st book but would rather have another hard cover book from you. Any plans?

In reply to Cookie and Kate. Hi Kate, Congratulations on all your successes. I think I was following you from close to the beginning of your cooking adventures. Loved seeing Cookie in all your recipes and always told everyone I knew about your site. I still use so many of your recipes that I had printed off from your app. As the above reader mentioned your Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart I can not find it anywhere. As a vegan my daughter would make it for our gatherings on both Christmas and Thanksgiving. It was truly decadent. I always let her make it as it became our tradition so I personally never printed off the recipe and now she can't find it. Would it be possible for you to email it to me also? Thanks in advance.
