This recipe is fantastic for parties, and easy to upscale for a crowd. I used a 13 x 9 pan and just added an extra avocado, a little more salsa and sour cream, plus plenty of cilantro, olives and peppers on top. Everyone loved it. Thank you, Kathryne!

Hellooo, I think this recipe has been updated since I last made it a few years ago and I’m a bit sad :( it defo had pico as a topping and got sent to all my friends after I would bring this dip to their houses! I would love to see the old recipe if possible somewhere. I only have a screenshot of the old cover image which was very different to this one but the link is the same. Five stars for the old recipe! (New one’s probably great too let’s be real)

In reply to KG. You should try substituting green chili for jalapeños. Can buy in a can, jar, or if you live in a spot that fresh green chili is available, that’s the best. I do not care for the heat of jalapeño but love green chili.

Not only did you rip into Kate's personal recipe (which all recipes are subjective to personal tastes), you hijacked her platform to make it YOUR recipe. If you're such a great cook (not that your version/suggestions were bad), I suggest you start your own cooking platform. Then we'll see how gracious you are when someone does what you did, on you.

You don’t think olives are spicy, right Peter? And you know that picante sauce is a salsa, right? And you don’t really make this, right, because there’s no way it’s a functional dip, Peter.

I think you might be allergic to black olives if you think they add kick. They aren’t supposed to have any kick. Also picante is just spicy salsa.
